1. Head of course

The course creator is automatically made the lead tutor. The lead tutor can modify the contents of the course (at any time), invite other tutors to teach the course, elevate any tutor to Admin, and remove tutors from the course. The lead tutor cannot be removed from a course.

Lead Tutors may earn a percentage of all course revenues for managing the course.

2. Admin Tutor

An Admin Tutor can take all of the same actions as a the Lead tutor, including modifying the course contents, but Admin Tutors can be removed by the Lead Tutor, and they do not currently earn any extra revenue if they contribute to the organisation of the course.

3. Tutor

All tutors have a PhD. All tutors receive every student application to the course on their dashboard. When applications are approved by tutors, they are sent to the college Dean for approval; thereafter, applicants that receive multiple offers of admission can accept whichever they prefer.

4. Instructor

Instructors are equal to Tutors except that they do not have a PhD. Typically they have an MA-level degree and extensive subject matter expertise.

5. Co-Tutor

Large student cohorts may have one or more co-Tutors teaching and managing the course.

6. Student

A student who accepts an invitation for enrolment will immediately be given access to the first week's tutorial preparation materials. Tutors are responsible for initiating the tutorial bookings.
